My first curly CH Aarowag's A Twisted Rhythm, TD, CDX (Drummer) sold me on the breed.  Since 1988, there have been several other curlies at Flairfor, including the current trio.  

Flairfor is the home of Tenor, Cajun, Curvy and Comic; two versatile curly-coated retrievers, one versatile hopeful and a papillon that compete in agility, conformation, obedience, tracking and  field (maybe not the papillon). 

We rarely have a litter and when we do, health, quality, type, temperament and ability are emphasized over quantity.  We believe that not every curly should be bred.  Only those curlies that possess exceptional type, temperament and soundness of mind and body should be considered for inclusion in a breeding program.   Minimally, those curlies should have been evaluated for and certified free from hip dysplasia, congenital cardiac diseases, and eye diseases before use as a stud dog or brood bitch.
